Just to make sure we covered everything we took some photos of the digipaks that we can use as an idea of what to put in.
The Digipaks were usually simple but can really entice audiences.
I feel that a simple cover has to portray a meaning to the audiences clearly and it is also able to entice audiences to buy the product even though they haven't heard the music or know the artist before.
Also, the cover is the most prominent feature of the digipaks therefore it is ideally to attract audiences' attention.
The cover should include:
- the Artist's name
- the Album name
- image of artist or image relating to the artist or the name of album
The spine of the digipaks allows the audiences to know the basics of what the digipaks is about. The features of the spine should have:
- Artist's name
- Album name
- Record Label
The back of the digipaks should have the same color or style as the front cover to keep a common theme.
The main use of the back cover is to inform audiences about:
- Tracklist
- Record Label
- Barcode
- Copyright information
- website or social media links
- Producers or production team
I also feel that the inside of the Digipaks also need to illustrate a significant part of the music as well and the pictures inside should be linked to the music or the cover of the Digipaks.
