Uptown Funk Evaluation

Evaluation:)

P.S Most of the work or proofs that we did the shots or planning is all in the other posts.

How is my work similar to the final product?

- I would say that the final product is very similar to the original version.
However, some of the parts were different and I feel that it doesn't make it worse and it gives a feeling of originality and style.
I believe that some parts have shown each person's character or personalities and therefore it has shown a big impact on the music video as well.

What did I find difficult or problematic during the SHOOT and the POST-PRODUCTION process?

- I found that finding actors for the music video was kind of hard.
sometimes the people we want that has the perfect personalities and appearance doesn't want to do it and we can't force them as well. Therefore, finding other people who would suite the music video was harder that I have first thought.
Plus, due to our timetables and the different time schedules, we weren't able to do the shoot right away or together as a big group and that was one of the biggest problems I have faced on this task.

- Moreover, I found out that the different scenes need to take a lot of patience and when taking a scene it takes at least 3 takes to get it right.
To be honest, I really like filming the music video!!!

- For the editing part, I just felt that when I tried to edit the shots, it was not easy when I had to make the video in line with the music and the mouth of the actor have to perfectly match the lyrics.

How did I find it working in a group?

- it was better than I thought it would be. With great teamwork, we were able to shoot and edit in time even though George was sick, he had helped us edit a lot along side Pooh and the final product was pretty awesome.

- Even though we had our differences, we managed to listen to each other's ideas and we were able to finish the project with very little or no conflict at all.

- I felt very comfortable working with Pooh and George, they gave me patience and great listening and caring skills and therefore I felt that even though I never worked with them before, they were great members and I could work with them again

What lessons you can take into the next project?

- try to have a clear plan before doing the shooting
- try to finish shooting in one day or as fast as you can
- be patient with editing
